This Maine based specialty store has long been a common destination for all that visit our great city of Portland.  It was originally opened in 1977 by the Harding brothers on Moulton Street.  In 1999 it moved to it's permanent location at 207 Commercial Street. It is still run today by one of the original owners and his son. In 2001 they expended to 83 Commercial Street with Ports of Call.  Both stores offer unique shopping experiences. With its friendly staff Shipwreck and Cargo and Ports of Call are definite must see's when coming to Portland Maine.  

We offer unusual and hard to find items that make our store unique and our customers happy. In addition to nautical accessories, we carry buoys, model ships, lighthouse motifs, scrimshaw and clothing.
